http://www.fanpop.com/clubs/the-pendragon-adventure this link goes to a website that is all about talking about the series i am currently reading. i really like the conversations that go on and i even made an account so that i can chip in. it is hard to keep up though because most of the guys on it have read and annualized the hole series motile times and seem to know everything about it. but is it still helpful since it helps me understand what is going on. the only bad part is that i have accidentally read allot of spoilers since i have now read all the books in the series.

i am now on the second book in the pen dragon series and i am loving it. one trouble that bobby has to doge are these things called quigs that are monsters that change form according to the dimension that he is in and they are out solely to stop him. in the first book they where big abomanal snowmen like things and in the second books they are giant sharks kinda like jaws. there are not allot of these monsters when he runs into one it is very hard to kill or escape it so when he does run into one it causes allot of tension that makes you want to keep flipping the pages.

i just stared a new book called pen dragon and i am enjoying it alot so far i think it might be one  of the best books i have read.  it is about a boy named bobby who is suddenly sucked up from his normal suburban life to a crazy world where he can travel through magic tunnels called flumes to different dimensions where he has to work out a fatal flaw in order to save it from collapsing. the demonstration that he is in, in this book is very med evil and has allot of poverty. so he will have to work out the hole economy. or there might be an uprising and the dimension will fall on itself.

as i was watching the movie of the book i am reading i was realizing that allot is taken out in the movie that was in the books also the movie skips around from all the different books in the series. for example in the movie count Olaf tries to marry. Juliet in the last part of the movie but in the series that happens in the first book and everything else happens after not before. also i think that Klaus is not represented well in the movie for he is a little to rough and out going witch is not like him in the books.

in my book the three children are now living with there uncle Mountie. and count Olaf showed up descised as a man named Roberto. and uncle Mountie does not question him because her called for a assistant and the next day count Olaf showed up. as the children realized who he is there uncle does not but he is suspicious if him. uncle Mountie thinks that count Olaf is a spy only there to steal his new discovery witch is a new type of snake. when uncle Mountie told the children what he thought the children where so surprised they dint even know what to say.
    i think that count Olaf will kill uncle Mountie soon because he is to suspicious. but he cant just kill him so he will probably have to make it look like an accident. i don't know what count Olaf will do after her kills him because he is after the boudiler fourtane so he cant harm any of the children. maybe he will try and take the children under his surveillance until he can further finalize or make a plan to get the fourtane. 

reading skills

i believe that the theme of my book is to always be yourself in all situation. i believe this because the children in this book are very defined by there talents and things that they like. for example Klaus is known for reading and memorizing allot. the children do the things they love when they are happy and things are going good but also when they are going through bad times witch helps them out. i think that if the children where to act different then who they really are and tried to be like someone else to get out of the situation then they would not have succeeded.
    but since they stuck to what they knew best and used there specialty to there advantages it allowed them to collaborate and take down all the problems set in front of them. the theme arises in this book by showing the reader what each individual child's skill was then they where faced with challenges it is easy to see that they quickly go back to there roots.     

theme 

for i am very excited with my book. i am now at the climax of my book and it is getting very good. the author keeps meeting that uncle Montgomery is going to die soon and i am guessing by the hands of count Olaf even though the author has not said that yet. Uncle Montgomery is still very alive and healthy and i am fearing when the hammer will drop on his reptile filled life. i am also feeling very sad for the bandlire children for they where very happy living with uncle montey and ever since the return of the dreaded count olaf there lives have once again been miserable and unhappy.

I am now strartilng the second book in my series it is the reptile roomand this book as alot of foreshadowing and the author isent even sneeky about it he. will say somthilng like. "i promise you kids nothing bad will happen to you in this room." just then a cold breeze flows through the window sending chils down the childrens skin. witch is an ovouse foreshadow that somthing bad willl happen to them in that room but if the reader did not catch it the author clearly states. "and if that has no meaning to you then let me tell you know it means that very bad things willl happen to the children in this  very room.' as i was reading this i thought it was very diffrent and amusing how the author did this.
 Also I am going to make a prediction that count olaf will come back to the children soon and the terrible things that happen will be becuse of him. i think this becuse in the last book count olaf swore that he will return for the children. i made a text to self connection when Cluase was frightened by all of the reptiles even though they are in cages. as i am not scared of reptiles but i felt the same way that Cluase felt in the book when i was in the insect house at the zoo. i was jumpy around all the insects even though they where all in cages.

I just finished the first the first book of the series of unfournate events series. i highly recomend this book to all of my classmates. it was a very easy and quick read yet beside that is was very interesting and kept me want to keep reading. plus if you want a good series i herd the hole series is great and i can teel you that the first one and half of the second one is good. i like how this book is very origanl in the fact that it is not like every other book with a traditianal happy ending and i thought that it was funny from the start of the book the author told you that it would not be a happy ending.

 i know telling you that the book does not have a happy ending is a spoiler but actually the author tells you this in the first chapter of the book. so i think it is ok that i am telling you this but i will not tell you what actually happens. overall i give this book about a 8 out of ten and highly recomend it to anyone who wants an intertaining and easy read.

I have nished the first book and i am very egear to read the rest of the series. the children maneged to escape counts olafs plans. after i hade hade read the hole book i think that the theme the author was trying to convay was that even in the most desrate times one must never lose hope. i know this is the theme becuse even though many bad things have happened to the baudiler children they never gave up. becuse of this the children escaped count olafs plans.

http://www.unfortunateevents.com/  as i am closing to the end of the first book of the series i am really enjoying it. the chidren feel trapped and by count olaf in his evil plan to get there money. kluase who is known for reading and gaining knowladge from books and believes that if you read enough books then you can get out of any situations. but unortanily his books could not get hime out of this situatin. and voilet known for inventiong things hase tried and failed to make an invetion to save sunny from the cage count olaf hase put her in. i think the author has done a great job with these caracters becuse as he has made each character unique for one thing at the root but they are all still very static characters. and when all there speacail talents fail sepertly they must combine them to make somthing extrodinary in order to escape count olafs evil plans and i am excited to find out what that is.

i am at the climax of my book and i cant put it down. the children have found out count olafs plan and right when they where confident enough to present it to him he threw a curveball by telling them that in the night he has captured there younger sister sunny and if they do anything to try and ruin his plan he will drop her of the high tower witch will shurly kill her. this has intreged the children even more to save sunny and stop the evil count olaf. my prediction is that they will somehow find a way to stop him. 

as i was reading the book i noticed that what the book described count olaf as and what he looks like in the movie are totally difrent things. the only things that are the same is that he has a tatto of an eye on his ankle. speaking about the eye i think its a very weird thing. he has eyes all over his house witch ovously means somthing but im not shure what.                                                   

in my book series of unfournate events the children are spending more time with count olaf and hate him more everyday. he makes them do alot of chores he gave the three of them one bed and he barly feeds them. also he slaped klause in the face. the children tried to get help by going to mr poe but there was little he could do for them. they have found one source of happyneiss though and that is there neighbor who is a nice kind woman with alot of books. and the children love reading.

recently in my book count olaf has demended that the children take part in his play witch is oflly wierd. he says that voilet will marry him in the play and sunny and kluase will be part of the wedding crowd. i believe that he is only doing becuse if he will actually try and marry voilet becuse if he is married to her he will recive the large amount of money that is left for her.

i am reading series of unfournate events. so far i am highly enjoying this book. count olaf is by far my favorite character so far even though he had only been in a couple pages that i have read. i like him vecuse he is very mysters and sly. i also liked this books humer it has a very dark sense of humer. an example is that the children thought that they wold be living in a new buetiful house filled with color and an old lady holding cookies and flowers. but they soon found out that would be there new neighbor and there real new home is old dark and rotting with all the blinds shut. i am very much looking foward to reading the rest of the book and the series.

what i thought was very interesting was that after reading the bookds desccription of the characters and seeing them in the movie in my mind they are nothing alike and ageter reading the book i pictured them very diffrently. especally the children

series of unfortunate events is the book that i am reading this trimester becuse everyone who has read it has said that is is a great book and series. my brother has read all thirteen of the books and he said he really enjoyed even though he hates reading. i also chose this becuse since my brother read them all we have all the books in the sereis in my house . the finale reason i decieded on this book is becuse i saw the movie witch i know doesent alwas represent the book. but in this case i herd it does.

all i know about this book is what i got from the back cover and the movie. what i have gathered is that there are three very happy children with everything going for them then one day a fire breaks out in there house and both of there parents are killed. since they no longer have any guardians they must go live with count olege. i am not shure what there realotinship with him is.

all in all i am very excited to read this book and the rest of the series it might take me awhile but im shure it will be worth it.
